Government Engineering College, Painavu, Idukki situates at Painavu, the head quarters of Idukki district. The Engg College site is very near to famous Idukki arch dam, attached to Idukki Hydel Power project. A two-hour journey by bus from Thodupuzha or Kothamangalam will take you to Painavu. Painavu is very cool and ideal for the students who are coming here for their higher studies. A lot of accommodation facilities are available in and around the college campus.
Our campus can accommodate almost 960 students at a time. Eminent faculty and CGPC are here for guiding the students to their dream destinations. Government Engineering College, Painavu is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
